I agree that Camila is a strong and decisive person, and that made her one of my favorite characters as well. Her patience with Billy went far beyond what I would be able to manage in her situation.
Overall, I think my favorite character was Billy by the end of the book because of how much he was able to grow over the years. His struggle with addiction and regret was very believable and inspiring, and I loved how it influenced his music.
